Donor Spotlight: Dorothy Elvins

Bayview resident Dorothy is a wonderful example of the generosity and thoughtfulness that define our community. Dorothy generously supported our Annual Savoy Gala this past September, helping advance the mission of Bayview Manor Foundation.

Dorothy grew up in Puyallup, Washington, and earned her Accounting degree from Bellevue Community College. She went on to build a long and successful career in the investment world. Her passion for finance is clearly a family legacy, as her son has followed in her footsteps, forging his own career in investments.

For her contribution to the Foundation, Dorothy chose to give through a stock transfer, a strategic and meaningful way to support Bayview’s mission. When asked why she gives, Dorothy shared:

“I’ve been very fortunate in my investments, and I want to share my funds with the Bayview community and a great cause. I believe Bayview is a great organization, and I am happy to give back.”

We are deeply grateful for Dorothy’s generosity and her commitment to strengthening the Bayview community. Her support helps ensure Bayview can continue enriching the lives of residents today and in the future.
