Meet Sue, a Bayview resident whose journey to better health began shortly after she and her husband made the move to Bayview.
“We first moved to Bayview because I had poor health due to heart disease,” Sue shares. “Sure enough, six months after moving, I had a major heart attack. But thanks to Bayview and my excellent cardiologist, this crisis was my turning point toward much better health.”
Through cardiac rehabilitation, Sue learned that heart disease can potentially be reversed with lifestyle changes in diet, exercise, and mindset. With the support of Bayview, she embraced those changes and saw results.
“After ten weeks, tests showed my heart disease had been reversed,” she says. “Now, five years later, I’m able to travel, hike, and garden—things I never thought would be possible for me again.”
