On Friday, September 12th, Bayview turned back the clock for our Annual Savoy Gala: 50’s Sock Hop! Poodle skirts, saddle shoes, and retro flair set the stage for an unforgettable night of celebration and generosity. We are thrilled to share that the event raised more than $95,000 in support of Bayview Manor Foundation.
Guests arrived in full sock hop style and enjoyed a 50’s-diner-inspired buffet, milkshake centerpieces, décor records galore, and plenty of black-and-white checkered flair. The Stephanie Porter Band kept the dance floor packed, while the photo booth captured everyone in their retro best.
A lively auction and paddle raise pushed us past our fundraising goal, while the wine pull, 50/50 raffle, and returning silent auction gave guests many ways to join in the fun. Our auctioneer kept the excitement high, including offering a bottle of bourbon to the last paddle raised!
This incredible evening was made possible thanks to our community of supporters, attendees, donors, volunteers, staff, and sponsors. Savoy: 50’s Sock Hop wasn’t just a great party; it was a meaningful investment in our mission. Your generosity helps us continue making a difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
